This week’s focus for EA872 was on chartering the EA effort, developing
an EA governance framework for Architecture development and assurance process
and developing a communication strategy to support the EA effort.
Governance is essential for an organization to be successful
in executing its EA initiatives. Governance makes management accountable for
the decisions and ensures risk is managed.
I like that quote. I think they key take away from this course is that there is no "one size fits all" method to EA. Each organization is different...and even then their EA needs are likely to change along with the industry, markets, and technologies.
